Tottenham Hotspur were thrashed by Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace produced a commanding comeback to defeat Tottenham Hotspur 3–1, with Ismaïla Sarr scoring twice in a match that turned on a first-half red card for Spurs captain Micky van de Ven.

Despite Sarr seeing an early goal ruled out for offside, Tottenham struck first when Dominic Solanke finished in the 34th minute. But the momentum shifted dramatically four minutes later as Van de Ven was dismissed for bringing down Sarr inside the penalty area.

Sarr calmly converted from the spot to restore parity before Jørgen Strand Larsen fired Palace ahead on the stroke of half-time.

With Spurs struggling to respond after the break, Sarr wrapped up the victory in stoppage time with a clinical finish to complete his brace and secure all three points for the Eagles.

The loss leaves Tottenham still searching for their first win under Igor Tudor, having now lost three consecutive matches and sitting 16th in the table. Palace, meanwhile, climb to 13th with 38 points, giving them a comfortable 10-point cushion above the relegation zone.
